The Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) recognizes the importance of transparency and accountability to the community it serves. We believe in openness and in providing timely, accurate and comprehensive information to the people we serve and their families, service providers, board members, staff and to our community. As established in the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act, RCEB is committed to reporting information with accuracy and transparency, maintaining full compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and our state contract that govern RCEB’s operations.

Purchase of Service Data

In accordance with Section 4519.5 of the Welfare & Institutions Code, Regional Center of the East Bay will hold public meetings regarding data relating to Purchase of Service (POS) authorization, utilization and expenditure with respect to consumer’s age, ethnicity, primary language , residence type, and disability.

Purchase of Services Expenditure Data by Diagnosis, Ethnicity, Language, Residence and Age

The department and the regional centers shall annually collaborate to compile data relating to purchase of service authorization, utilization, and expenditure by each regional center with respect consumer’s age, ethnicity, primary language, disability.

Annual Reports Pursuant to Welfare & Institutions Code 4639.5

By December 1 of each year, each regional center shall provide a listing to the State Department of Developmental Services a complete current schedule for all personnel classifications used by the regional center. The information shall be provided in a format prescribed by the department. The department shall provide this information to the public upon request.

Home and Community-based Services Waiver Program Review

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) conducted the federal compliance monitoring review of the Home and Community-based Services (HCBS) Waiver from January 26 – February 5, 2009 at Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB).
