The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on May 6, 2024 from 8:00 am, until 8:00 pm PT. The HACA will also accept Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications for 3 and 4-bedroom Apartments in Emeryville and Union City. According to the HACA, this is “a 1-day extension to the April 2024 waitlist opening. If you applied during the April waitlist opening, you do not need to take any action. All applications received in the previous April 2024 opening and this one-day opening will be entered into the lottery.”

What you need to apply: 1.) Valid email address 2.) Phone number 3.) Full name of all household members 4.) Date of birth of all household members 5.) Social security number for all household members (if available) 6.) Total gross income for the household 7.) Valid mailing address
